This is a self-winding automatic watch driven by IWC’s 79320 caliber, which is based upon the ETA / Valjoux 7750 caliber. It possesses 31 jewels, beats at 28,800 vph, and delivers a 44-hour power reserve.

The sandblasted stainless steel case measures 42 mm in diameter, 13.4 mm in height, and rests upon a black rubber strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, which is ideal for salt water dives. Other case features include a slightly domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a 120 m / 12 atm water resistance, and a uni-directional rotating inner bezel that is beneath the crystal and controlled by the crown found at 4 o’clock. A convenient 15-minute yellow-colored dive scale can be found upon the inner bezel.

Along with the printed minute track in yellow, the black-colored dial showcases luminous hands and hour markers for easy viewing. There are day and date windows at 3 o’clock, a small seconds at 9, and chronograph functions include a 30-minute counter at 12, a 12-hour counter at 6, and a center seconds arm.
