Longines was founded in 1832, and since that time it has become one of the superstars of fine Swiss watch manufacturing. They not only carry an impressive selection of in-house calibers, but they have outfitted some of the world’s most famous explorers—aviator Charles Lindbergh and polar explorer Roald Amundsen to name but two.

The Longines Conquest V.H.P. (Very High Precision) newly released model is very precise and practical watch. This model coveys very sporty look and features.

The partially polished and brushed stainless steel case measures a moderate 41 mm in diameter, 11.8 mm in height, and rests upon a blue rubber strap with a stainless steel push-button folding clasp. The winding crown is push / pull, protected, and there is an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, that protects the dial.

This is a quartz-powered watch, with Longines technology specifically designed for this model. The vibrant blue-colored guilloche patterned dial sports a large Arabic numerals at 6 and 12 o'clock positions, applied steel hour markers are filled with luminescent paint, a date window at 3, and a central seconds hand with red tip. Screw-down engraved caseback.
