interpretation, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five is a case study of vintage
diver's watches of the sixties. This is a self-winding automatic watch
that beats at 28,800 vph, has 26 jewels, delivers an approximate 38-hour
power reserve, and is driven by the Oris caliber 733 (based upon
SW200-1).
The stainless steel case measures 42 mm in diameter, 13.5 mm in height,
and features a unidirectionally turning bezel with black top ring offset
by silver tone numerals and markers. The partially brushed and high
polished case of this watch is attached to a textured brown calfskin
leather strap, which is completed with a stainless steel tang buckle.
A slightly domed silvered brushed textured dial is set with applied
luminous "Old Style" hour markers, the hour and minute hands are filled
with SuperLuminova luminous paint. There is a date window classically
positioned at 3 o’clock. In addition, this watch delivers a curved
vintage-inspired scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal, a 100 m / 10
atm water resistance, and a screw-down winding crown.
